Assistant Scoutmasters

• Work with scouts during "Instruction" periods of scout meeting
• Give guidance on Camping/outdoor events
• Work with patrol Leader's Council to plan activites
• Participate in the troop's program
• Help with Scoutmaster's conferences
• Be able to take over in place of Scoutmaster

Committee Members

Recording Secretary

• Keep minutes of committee meetings
• Remind committee members of meetings and Board of Review dates
• Send out committee meeting/Board of Reveiw notices
• Report the minutes of the previous meeting
• Conduct Troop Resouce Survey
• Send out thank-you notes
• Send out newspaper articles

Advancement Coordinator

• Encourage scouts to advance
• Maintain Scout Advancement records
• Maintain troop merit badge counselor list
• Arrange quarterly boards of review and courts of Honor
• Work with Troop Librarian to maintain a troop library
