                                           Pinewood Derby Official Rules                                      

 

Pinewood season is here and the agenda for the week of the pinewood is as follows:

Wednesday, March 18th, 2009  6:00 PM    Initial Weigh-ins and inspection of cars

This night will be a weigh-in and inspection of the cars only.  Any modification of the cars will be completed at home and not on site.  Parents are encouraged to have the cars weighed in on this night, as it leaves them time to make modifications and/or adjustments to the cars.  Completed cars may be submitted to the committee on this night, if the scout and parent are satisfied and the car meets the specifications outlined in the Pinewood Derby Rules.  Note: Once the car is submitted to the committee, it will not be returned for any adjustments or modifications.

Friday, March 20th, 2009  6:00 PM  Final weigh-ins and submission of cars

After all modifications are completed at home, and the car meets the specs set forth in the rules, the car will be submitted to the committee.

Saturday March 21st, 2009   Race Day
Redeemer Lutheran Church

Food and Beverages will be served starting at10am.
