Training
What Makes a Trained Leader? Cub Scout leaders are considered trained when they have completed New Leader Essentials and the Cub Scout Leader Specific training for their position.
Scouting provides training to all levels of leadership. Look for the “Trained” patch on the leaders sleeves. Training is provided in many forms and covers everything needed to be a Cub Scout Leader. See your Cubmaster for further information on training opportunities.
