Adults

Cub Scouts involves the boy and family and can not happen without parental involvement.  Behind most successful scouts are involved parents. We encourage each adult to participate wherever possible and remain aware of each Scouts progress toward advancement. 


Den Meetings Parents may help with den activities by coordinating den outings and activities, help with den records, behavioral issues etc…

 

Pack Committee: Parents are welcome to join the pack committee and participate in committee meetings.  See the Committee Chair about becoming a committee member.

Summer Camp  

·        Promote Summer Dad/Lad, Mom/Me, Webelos Camps. Collect fees and submit registration and other fees into Council by required deadlines.

Summer Activities 

·        3 individuals to plan and promote one event per month 

Special Events 

·        Plan and promote hay rides, picnics, hikes, and/or sporting events

Scouting For Food 

Service Projects 

·        Work with Pack Committee on identifying service projects for the Pack and Dens in our community.

 Day Camp  

·        Plan and promote Day Camp participation

·        Recruit Day Camp Staff 

Fundraising – 

Pack Trainer

·        Help train Den Leaders, setup dens and promote training etc.

Newsletter 

·        Attend Committee Meetings, publish monthly pack newsletter and distribute through student backpacks.
